Leaving Galápagos

At 1600 our agent Bolivar showed up with the “Zarpa” “clearance document ” followed by heavy rain. Since we were anxious to go set sail, raised the anchor and at 1630 and we were heading out of the harbour. The sea was calm but it was raining like never rained before. As soon as we left the island behind us the wind picked up, so as the sea, big rollers and squalls appeared on the horizon.

We have 3120 nautical miles ahead of us to see land again and that should be Fatu Hiva a beautiful volcanically island in the Marquesas Archipelagos.
